Terms

Clear limits, no invented promises

These website terms describe a product that is still evolving. Production behavior may depend on Android, device manufacturers, carriers, permissions, and released app versions.

Product information

This website describes KAAL Shield by OpenKAAL. Features marked as under development are not promises of immediate availability. A feature should be considered available only when it is present and working in the version installed on your device.

Call-control behavior

Android call handling can vary by Android version, device manufacturer, dialer role, permissions, carrier behavior, and system restrictions. KAAL Shield does not guarantee that every call-control action will behave identically on every device or network.

No emergency-service replacement

KAAL Shield is a call-control product. It is not an emergency service, telecommunications carrier, law-enforcement service, or guaranteed safety system. Do not rely on it as the sole method of reaching emergency assistance.

Network features

KAAL Alert network features are under development. Future community-powered unwanted-call protection may also change before production release. OpenKAAL should publish specific service terms when those network services become publicly available.

Acceptable use

Users must not use KAAL Shield or future OpenKAAL Network services to harass others, unlawfully interfere with communications, impersonate people, distribute malicious content, or violate applicable law.

Website changes

These terms may be revised as the product, server architecture, and legal requirements develop. The version published on this website is the current website version.
